The Office People is expanding its operation in North Charleston
The Office People is continuing to grow and is experiencing its second operation expansion in less than 2 years. The Office People purchased and is currently renovating the Former Fox Movie theater as an additional distribution center and smart office showroom in North Charleston.
Their Headquarters, currently located at 4991 Banco Road, has invested an additional $2 million in a 25,000 sqft. building located at 5601 Rivers Avenue. The massive renovation of the historic movie theater will give The Office People a total of five locations and 60,000 sqft. under roof in South Carolina and Georgia, allowing them to provide the fastest time from workplace design to installation.
The development is expected to create twenty (20) service, sales, and support jobs in the Lowcountry.
This new Technology Innovation Center will showcase products from LG, Sharp, and most of Foxconn’s partners. Office Furniture from over 50+ vendors will allow customers to make easier decisions while viewing executive offices, open plan workstations, and resimercial layouts in person.
The building is expected to open to customers by the end of summer.
